Refund policy

Welcome to Ottica Borin

At Ottica Borin, we are committed to ensuring that your purchase is always rewarding. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 14 days to return it. Please review our Returns and Refunds Policy below: 

Return Period
To initiate a return request, you have 14 days from the date you receive your order. The withdrawal period, during which you can exercise your right to return the product, expires 14 days after the day you or a designated person (other than the courier) take physical possession of the ordered product. In the case of multiple products ordered in the same order but delivered separately, the 14-day period starts from the day you take physical possession of the last item delivered.

How to Request a Return
To start your return request, please contact our Customer Service via email, phone, or by filling out our online form. We will provide you with all the necessary assistance and send you a pre-filled return label to make the return process easier and more convenient. 

Restocking Fees
Please note that we apply a restocking fee for return processing, which varies depending on the delivery location of your order:

  • Italy: €5
  • European Union, United Kingdom, United States, and Switzerland: €10
  • Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, and Norway: €30
  • Rest of the world: €45

Currency conversion will be based on the exchange rate determined by the European Central Bank at the time of the return request. 

Return Authorization and Label
To ensure a smooth return process, please obtain authorization from our Customer Service before sending back any item. Any returned item without our authorization or without the provided return label will not be eligible for a refund.

Return Shipping Deadline
Returned items must be shipped within 10 days from the receipt of the return label. Please make sure to return the item promptly to avoid refund processing delays.

Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a refund, returned items must be unworn and in perfect condition, with all accessories and original packaging intact. We will not be able to refund items that do not meet these criteria. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the item until it is returned to us. For more details on return and refund rights, please refer to our Terms of Service.

Refund Process
The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us. Once we receive the returned item and verify its eligibility, we will initiate the refund process. You will be refunded the price paid for the item, minus the restocking fee. Please note that shipping costs and any taxes incurred are non-refundable. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method used. 

Exclusions
Sale items cannot be returned and are non-refundable. Customized frames, including those with prescription or non-prescription lenses, are not eligible for a refund unless they are defective or do not match the prescription provided at the time of purchase. If your item is defective or does not match your prescription, please contact our Customer Service immediately.

Defects Upon Delivery
All items we ship are checked by our quality control team before dispatch. In the unlikely event that you receive a defective item, please contact us immediately. We will be happy to assist you and resolve the issue.
